NASA Targets March 1 Launch for Next SpaceX Station Resupply Mission

HOUSTON -- NASA and its international partners are targeting Friday, March 1 for SpaceX CRS-2, as the launch date for the next cargo resupply flight to the International Space Station by Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX). 

Launch is scheduled for 10:10 a.m. EST (9:10 a.m. CST) from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. 


About:
SpaceX CRS-2, also known as SpX-2, will be the fourth flight for SpaceX's uncrewed Dragon cargo spacecraft, the fifth overall flight for the company's two-stage Falcon 9 v1.0 launch vehicle, and the second SpaceX operational mission contracted to NASA under a Commercial Resupply Services contract.
